Prison diversion program set to end – Take Action Now!
This legislative session, PSJ has been tirelessly advocating to continue critical work we started ten years ago: keeping families together, investing in solutions that work, and shrinking Oregon’s prison population.
In 2015 Oregon became the second state in the country to launch the Family Sentencing Alternative Program (FSAP), a prison diversion program that keeps families together by allowing parents to be accountable for harm while still raising their kids. The program is set to expire this year – HB 2555 renews it.
We are weeks away from the end of the 2025 legislative session, and HB 2555 is still awaiting a critical committee hearing. Time is almost up, and we need your help now.
Make your voice heard – take action, and let your legislators know we aren’t giving up. Oregon communities are stronger together.
