Ready to get to work, Oregon? It’s time to advocate for the 2017 Safety and Savings Act!
Safety and Justice Day of Action
Monday, April 3, 9:30 am – 4:00 pm
Oregon State Capitol in Salem.
This is one of the most important community events for criminal justice and crime survivor advocacy, and its success depends on you! Together we can:
- Reduce Oregon’s excessive prison sentences for drug and property crimes, which disproportionately impact women and people of color.
- Help families stay together so children can be with their parents as they achieve accountability through supervision, services, and treatment.
- Advocate for people with addiction who need treatment to break harmful patterns that include drug and property crimes.
- Protect services that support crime survivors and deliver community-based programs.
Meet your legislators and tell them why Oregon should pass criminal justice policies that achieve accountability, promote equity, prioritize treatment, unite families, and strengthen communities.
