Partnership for Safety & Justice is Oregon’s leading voice for public safety and criminal justice reform.

For over 20 years, we’ve been effectively transforming the criminal justice system by bringing together people who are justice involved, crime survivors, and the families and communities of both.

OUR VISION

A public safety and criminal justice system that builds strong families, safe communities, and a just society.

We advance local solutions.

We engage with people convicted of crime and crime survivors to advocate for policies and programs that prevent harm, meet regional needs, and reflect our state’s racial and ethnic diversity.

We oppose over-criminalization and over-incarceration.

We challenge Oregon’s reliance on long prison sentences and its disproportionate impact on communities of color. It’s time for a more balanced and responsible approach that values prevention, healing, and equity.

We advocate to better serve crime survivors.

We are building a movement of healing and safety for people harmed by crime and violence so that all survivors have the resources they need to rebuild their lives.

We are a diverse coalition of people like you,

including those most impacted by crime and violence, community members, victims’ advocates, social justice activists, business owners, criminal justice professionals, lawmakers, and service providers.

You do have a voice. Everyone has a role even if it’s simply educating your neighbor.”
