Virtual Advocacy Day 2021
April 30, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Announcing Safety & Justice 2021 Virtual Advocacy Day on Friday, April 30
Be a part of the most powerful advocacy event of the year!
Safety & Justice Advocacy Day is an extraordinary opportunity to connect with people from across the state, meet your legislators, and support public safety and criminal justice reforms we need!
Together we will work to shrink prisons and probation, advance racial justice, and help pass the most transformative legislative proposals of the year, including
- Transforming community safety, including reforming Measure 11, implementing more equitable responses to crime, and reinvesting in crime survivor and culturally specific services
- Implementing Measure 110 to decriminalize drug possession and expand access to addiction treatment
- Creating a statewide crisis response program that delivers support to people who need help, rather than police
This is our greatest opportunity to advocate for the reforms that bring true safety, equity, and justice to our communities.

This virtual event will be similar to our in-person gatherings in Salem every year.
In the morning, there will be information sessions, panels, and opportunities to meet with people in your communities to prepare to meet with your Oregon lawmakers. In the afternoon, together with other local advocates, you will meet with your legislators about why you support these urgent reforms now.
