Multnomah County Chair Ted Wheeler was the featured speaker at our community celebration on October 30, 2007 as we announced a major change affecting county employment and people with conviction histories.

We also presented “Champion of Safety and Justice Awards” to Senator Ginny Burdick and Representative Chip Shields, honored our membership for their activism and advocacy, and presented an overview of a deeply troubling 2008 ballot initiative.
