The Birth Attendants: Prison Doula Project provides direct pregnancy and childbirth support services to incarcerated women in Washington State. In addition, we provide community education about prisons with the intention of making the realities of the prison system visable and fostering a world that takes the emphasis off of incarceration and places it on education, access, support and community.
